The Chevrolet Tahoe is one of General Motors’ full-size SUVs which takes most of its components from the GMC Yukon. Originally marketed as the Chevrolet K-Blazer, the Tahoe become its own entity in 1995 after the GMC K-5 Jimmy took on the Yukon name in 1992. The current Chevrolet Tahoe is powered by a choice of four dissimilar engines. The first is a 4.8L V8 engine producing 295hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe is available in three trim levels which include Chevrolet Tahoe LS, Chevrolet Tahoe, LT and Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ.Chevrolet Tahoe LS is the base model which is installed with 17 inch alloy wheel, eight passenger seats with front power adjustment and bucket seats, tri zone manual climate zone, central floor console, 50/50 split detachable third row seat, 60/40 split second row seat, Bluetooth connectivity, audio system with six speakers, CD chargers, satellite radio, I-Pod and USB interface, AUX-IN pin and On-Star. Chevrolet Tahoe LTX trim include LT’s luxury package and some other additional features like 20 inch wheels, outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators, suspension system with active dampers, perforated leather trim, ground illuminated lights, ventilated and heated front seats, navigation system with real time traffic updates, upgraded Bose audio system with 10 speakers and second row split bench seats.
