The Chevrolet Tahoe is one of General Motors’ full-size SUVs which takes most of its components from the GMC Yukon. Originally marketed as the Chevrolet K-Blazer, the Tahoe become its own entity in 1995 after the GMC K-5 Jimmy took on the Yukon name in 1992. The current Chevrolet Tahoe is powered by a choice of four dissimilar engines. The first is a 4.8L V8 engine producing 295hp and 305 lb-ft of torque.
