IGNOU Introduces Full Time MBA | IGNOU Launches Full Time MBA Course
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the introduction of a two-year full time Master Business Administration (MBA) programme in corporate governance. The announcement was made by an IGNOU official on Wednesday i.e. on March 16, 2011.
The official said that it will be taught by eminent management and corporate governance experts. To be eligible for admission candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized university or 45 percent for reserved category. Admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the test, group discussion and a personal interview for final selection. The classes will commence from July.
Furthermore, the official added that the full-time course has been introduced under the aegis of IGNOU's Centre for Corporate Education, Training and Consultancy. The official also informed that the MBA degree awarded by IGNOU is AICTE (All India Council Technical Education) recognized and will be taught with the theoretical concepts combined with relevant contemporary corporate exposure.
